woke up at 12.32 2dae.. slept late yesterday.. juz feel like elaborating on wat happened yesterday...
was supposed to go to a concert wif ila,ijal,erul n their frens n fiza.. ijal last minute bubble coz he is still stuck in skul at 7.. one down..
in the afternoon.. when inside the mosque.. got another bad news.. fiza cant make it coz she is down wif rashes.. not to waste the ticket.. i startes calling zahira,hidayah den asad.. i think its asad's luck that she gets the tix n free dinner.. zahira when i call.. was having paper.. hidayah was in tutorial.. when i call asad.. she juz step out of class after paper.. so i asked her.. "sad.. 2moro got paper or not?? 2nite u free or not? i got extra ticket to a band concert.. " she said shes free.. den she ask.. need to anywhere formal.. no need.. but after some time.. i msg her.. "juz to inform u dat i''m wearing quite formal" .. luckily i told her that.. if not shes gonna come in a tshirt jeans n slipper n timbuk2...
was supposed to meet asad n my kazens at 5.45 at tamp mrt station.. but she was late. . i asked the others to go first.. asad came at 6.05.. we took mrt to tanjong pagar..
been to singapore convention hall once.. back in secondary sch.. 4got wat band dat time.. so i'm quite familiar to the place.. erul met his sch frens n left us.. went in n sat in front.. for better music.. asad is getting bored.. hehe.. i like the ferst song.. tales of the sea.. choice piece of 2003 SYF Concert Band Competition.. songs composed by Robert W. Smith n James Swearingen was my favourite since i the time i was a percussionist in Ngee Ann Concert Band.. i can still remember the percussion solo in Invincibe Warrior by David Shaffer n Majestia by James Swearingen.. Tryptich II by Elliot Del Borgo.. our choice piece in 2001 where we clinched silver medal.. talking abt concert.. that time when we performed at Victoria Concert Hall.. the percussions had a song all by ourself.. Rondolino by Gert Bomhaf.. We got all eyes on us.. k k enuf.. asad n ila spotted a cute guy playing euphonium.. saw a clarinetists.. n dat reminds me of ShaSha.. saw the f.horn. .reminds me of Zahira.. saw a female percussionist.. reminds me of Fadilah.. those were the days.. the band was ok overall.. but theres plenty of room for improvemnet.. they muz be synchronize... i had a great time listening to beautiful symphony.. i think i gonna get a cd from james swearingen.. do u beileve dat in secondary sch.. in my discman.. i got songs like there??.. if not in tp i wan to join band.. but no kaki.. sumore me shy guy.. so join sports climbing.. dats where i find my sporting side of me..
it ended at almost 10.. made our way to tanjong pagar mrt station.. when sumthing noisy happened.. go ask asad wat happen.. stopped at tamp n had supper wif asad n ewul.. on me.. ila n yasir went hm.. met saleha n nadim.. syahrul,muhsin n their frens.. after eat, me n ewul walked asad hm.. companied her since she companied me.. then took 81 hm at ard 12.15..
its a great day.. but could have been better i guess.. the music was gd.. the company was great.. wat else can i ask for.. yeah dats abt it..
its 2.50 rite now.. n me gonna slack for the rest of the day..Peace!
