a drumset, some violas, 2 flutes and a whole lot of malay percussion means music to my ears. was at esplanade saturday evening with my kazens, members of cucuwahram inc. watching live performance by Sri Mahligai, a local malay cultural group.
Titled "PESTA RAYA : Sacred or Otherwise Rules are meant to be broken ", There are no borders or language barriers in this concert where ethnic and modern music come together. Basically wat they did was playing musics with a twist, mixing other music elements in their score. well, for me, i've been going to musical concerts since ngee ann days thus i really enjoy my twenty dollars worth. two thumbs up for their creativity.
went to climb 2dae. was very late though. reached skul at 8 and didnt get to climb much. but gd thing was dat i did fairly good after a wk of absence. kamsir kasiman made a special appearance after months of hiding in farah's tudong. walked home from pasirris interchange wif li n him. hes days are numbered.
