it wasnt so long ago that i was enlisted with a bunch of newborn soldiers. a couple of months later, they passed out wearing the guards tab with the khaki beret. guardsman they are niow.
time past fast.. the soldiers went for their section field camp in tekong. this time round, my role had changed. i wasnt an instructor that slept on safari bed comfortably while the men sleep on the ground. i now camouflaged my face the same three stripes they have, carry the same load as them and run as far as them. through this, i earn their respect when i lead them.
advance infantry training is over and now we proceeds to platoon level training.. kinda miss it actually.. still remember the days in taiwan where we chiong up the knoll together.. 20+ of us..
last week was a prostitue week. me and 15 men under men were on standby for four days. when they need us, we board the tonner, alight and set to work. once done, they return us to the training shed where we treat it like a chalet. meals were provided, but we insisted on canteen food. going bankrupt real soon.
COS now.. again.. and again on my bdae and again on this coming sat. and that concludes my duties for the month of september.UNLESS, i'm awarded 7 extra for not putting on the COS name tag while briefing. damn
gonna try to fast next wk. need to pay back the five days i missed when i was in taiwan. on the thirteen, the fers days of puasa.. i'm gonna have the platoon prof test. damn it!
